Arabia Tuokio Tea Towel, Blue

Arabia’s Tuokio tea towel features a pattern that is both modern and nostalgic, delicate and strong. The name of the pattern, Tuokio, Finnish for “moment”, describes the intensity of time – a special and memorable instant. For the details of the Tuokio decoration, design agency Helorinne & Kallio sought a hand-painted impression as a tribute to the traditional decorations of Arabia ceramics; it infuses the pattern with a rhythm in which the brushstroke, the feel of the artist’s work, is heavily present.
