1616 / Arita Japan PC Teabox

The PC tea jar by 1616 / arita japan is adorned with a lovely red stripe motif as well as two black rings around the opening. The ceramic jar is ideal for storing tea leaves but can be used for sugar, sweets or anything you may think of.

Named after its designer Pierre Charpin, the PC collection is based on the connection between form and decoration: often the motif or pattern is designed after the dishware, but PC’s shapes and decorations were designed together, simultaneously. This approach has resulted in a tableware collection that manages to look fresh and modern – yet somehow nostalgic at the same time. As a reference to the positioning of the patterns, the collection’s nickname is Outline.
